CCIE Data Center v2 Transition Technologies Course

This course provides a detailed overview of the technologies, hardware platforms, software features, and exam updates introduced in the CCIE Data Center v2 blueprint. It is designed to help learners understand the new areas added to the updated blueprint and how these technologies fit into modern Cisco data center environments. Throughout the course, you will explore important Data Center v2 topics such as Data Center Automation, Policy-Driven Fabric, and Application Centric Infrastructure, also known as ACI. The training also covers key Cisco hardware platforms, including Nexus 9000 Series Switches, Nexus 5600 Series Switches, Nexus 2300 Series Fabric Extenders, and the UCS 4300 M Series Chassis. In addition, the course introduces advanced data center networking technologies such as Virtual Extensible LANs, commonly known as VXLAN, and Multi-Protocol Border Gateway Protocol Ethernet VPN, also known as MP-BGP EVPN. These topics help learners understand how modern data center networks are designed for scalability, automation, flexibility, and efficient traffic forwarding. The course also explains the important format changes in the CCIE Data Center v2 Lab Exam. This includes the addition of the new 60-minute Diagnostic module, which is designed to evaluate a candidate’s ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose network-related issues in a realistic exam environment. Overall, this course is ideal for learners preparing for the CCIE Data Center v2 exam and for network professionals who want to understand the updated Cisco data center technologies, platforms, and exam structure.
