IPsec VPNs

This course provides a focused explanation of IPsec using Pre-Shared Keys, commonly known as PSK, and how it is implemented in secure network environments. It is designed to help learners understand how IPsec protects traffic by providing encryption, authentication, and secure communication between network devices. Throughout the course, learners will explore how Pre-Shared Keys are used as an authentication method during IPsec tunnel establishment. The training explains the role of IPsec components, key exchange, tunnel negotiation, and the security mechanisms that allow private traffic to be safely transmitted across untrusted networks. The course also covers how IPsec interacts with Dynamic Multipoint VPN, commonly known as DMVPN. Learners will understand how IPsec is used to secure DMVPN tunnels, protect site-to-site communication, and support scalable VPN designs across multiple branch or remote locations. By the end of this course, learners will have a stronger understanding of IPsec with PSK, its role in VPN security, and how it works together with DMVPN in real-world network deployments.
