Collaboration Solutions: IM&P, Protocols, Codecs & Endpoints
Collaboration Solutions: IM&P, Protocols, Codecs, and Endpoints helps learners understand the core technologies that support Cisco collaboration deployments. The course explains how messaging, endpoints, signaling, media handling, and call flow behavior work together to deliver reliable collaboration services. Learners review Jabber login behavior, IP phone registration, endpoint boot processes, call setup and teardown, signaling protocols, and SIP message verification. The course also covers audio and video codecs, regions, endpoint behavior, and the design decisions that influence call quality, compatibility, and interoperability. By connecting protocols, endpoints, and media processing concepts, the course gives learners a stronger foundation for implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Cisco collaboration solutions. It is useful for engineers who want practical clarity on how collaboration components operate across real enterprise environments.
