Deploying IS-IS on Juniper Routers
Deploying IS-IS on Juniper Routers provides a practical understanding of how the IS-IS routing protocol is configured and managed within Junos-based networks. The course focuses on how IS-IS operates in scalable environments and how it is used to build efficient routing infrastructures. Learners explore key concepts such as single-level and multi-level IS-IS design, different network types, authentication mechanisms, route leaking techniques, route summarization, and the distinctions between single-topology and multi-topology implementations. Each concept is tied to real configuration and verification tasks to reinforce practical understanding. The course bridges protocol theory with hands-on application, helping engineers understand how IS-IS establishes network reachability and how design decisions influence routing behavior across domains. It is well-suited for learners aiming to develop advanced skills in service provider or large-scale enterprise routing environments.
