Infrastructure Security
This module covers the Infrastructure Security section of the current CCIE Security lab and written exam blueprints. It explains different types of network attacks, mitigation methods, and key Control Plane, Management Plane, and Data Plane security features. By completing this course, learners will understand how to identify and reduce common threats such as IP spoofing, DoS, DDoS, IP fragmentation, IP options, extension header attacks, Layer 2 attacks, IPv6 attacks, and more. The course also teaches how to configure and verify important IPv4 and IPv6 infrastructure security technologies, including Control Plane Policing and Protection, Management Plane Protection, Secure Neighbor Discovery, and Wireless Security.
