IPv6 First Hop Security vSeminar

IPv6 First Hop Security vSeminar is designed to help learners understand the security challenges that exist at the first hop of an IPv6 network and how to protect against them. This training focuses on the technologies and best practices used to secure communication between end devices and their default gateway in IPv6-enabled environments. Throughout this vSeminar, learners will explore important IPv6 First Hop Security concepts, including how attackers may exploit neighbor discovery, router advertisements, address assignment, and local-link communication. The course explains how these risks can affect network availability, traffic forwarding, and endpoint security. The training also introduces security features and mitigation techniques used to protect IPv6 networks from common first-hop threats. Learners will gain a clearer understanding of how to strengthen IPv6 access-layer security, reduce unauthorized network behavior, and improve protection for enterprise IPv6 deployments. By the end of this vSeminar, learners will have a stronger foundation in IPv6 First Hop Security and the practical knowledge needed to identify, prevent, and troubleshoot common IPv6 first-hop security issues.
