Route Policy Language (RPL)
Route Policy Language (RPL) helps learners understand how routing policies are written, structured, and applied on Cisco platforms that use RPL syntax. The course explains the purpose of route policies, how conditions and actions are organized, and how policies influence route acceptance, advertisement, tagging, and path selection. Learners connect RPL concepts with practical routing control tasks, including prefix matching, community handling, policy logic, and verification methods. The course also helps learners understand how route policies are used to shape routing behavior in complex enterprise and service provider environments. By the end of the course, learners gain a clearer framework for reading, writing, validating, and troubleshooting route policies in networks where precise routing control and predictable path selection are important.
