Security Attacks & Vulnerabilities
Security Attacks and Vulnerabilities helps learners understand why knowledge of attacker methods is important for building a stronger cybersecurity strategy. The course introduces threat actor types, motivations, vulnerability concepts, attack techniques, reconnaissance methods, exploitation paths, and the ways defenders collect and analyze vulnerability information. Learners connect common weaknesses with real defensive priorities, helping them better understand risk, prevention, detection, and response. The course also explains how vulnerabilities can be discovered, assessed, prioritized, and managed before they become serious security issues. By building a practical foundation in attack behavior and vulnerability management, this course helps learners recognize how cyberattacks develop and why reducing weaknesses across an organization is essential for stronger security.
